You’ll find that some classes will- and I’m not even exaggerating- change your life for the better. Here are some of the ones I’ve taken here that have broadened my horizon and prepared me to enter the “real world” after college.

Philosophy of the Liberal Arts: This is a relatively new class at Naz. We explored different texts and theories to answering the question, “What is the value of a liberal arts education?”. I often find myself wanting to know more about why I chose this school and this major and this class solidified my choices as the right ones.

Language and Literature Development: I’m in this class right now, and we’re looking into how different forms of English allow us to communicate effectively. I love all the approaches we’re taking to becoming more well-versed in the realm of education.

Acting I: In this course, I learned that I can become anyone I want to be by exploring who I really am on the inside. What are my strengths and weaknesses? What am I truly passionate about, and how can I convey that to people? What do I WANT? If you’re interested in these persistent questions and performance, this is the class for you.

Intro to Biology: Okay, this sounds like a basic course, right? It was, but it wasn’t a traditional, lecture-based snooze fest. We don’t really have those here. I was never really a science person, but by the end of this class, I was asked to be a bio tutor. I think that really says something about how in-depth we go in Naz classes!
