Love music? Want to play out? Well, Rochester is the place to be! Almost any night of the week, you can either play your music and show the city your talents, or go check out other local bands! Any skill level is welcome at an open mic- just bring yourself and your instrument! Microphones will already be set up for you, so don’t worry about that. Some places even provide pianos! It’s a fun opportunity to meet new people and get feedback on a new song you learned or wrote. You can play/sing by yourself, or with a friend- sometimes even full groups go on stage! Sometimes, WNAZ and Music Business Club put on open mic nights during the semester at Colie’s Café on campus.
