So last week I got to participate in what was probably the coolest experience of my life thus far…I got to sing backup for Josh Groban! (Along with nineteen of my fellow Nazareth students.)

We were selected to sing in three shows with him in Albany, Syracuse, and Buffalo and we had the time of our lives doing it. We had two weeks to prepare the music and then did three shows over the course of five days…it was a crazy week for sure!

We endured some long car rides, which fortunately were made easier with good friends and loud show tunes….

…some very interesting fans both at the shows and on the highways…

…and long waits for Josh to finish sound check, which of course we used to take selfies in front of the marquees…

…but in the end it was well worth it all to share the stage with this incredible musician, performer, and genuinely kind man.

Thank you to the Nazareth College Music Department, and to Josh Groban for making this possible!

Nazareth is FULL of awesome opportunities for music majors like studying abroad, trips to music therapy conferences, service trips to Jamaica, and on campus a capella groups!
