Tonight from 5:30 – 9 there were four different food trucks on campus: Le Petit Poutine, The Meatball Truck, Bento Box (food in the Laos and Vietnamese tradition), and Tuscan Wood Fired Pizza. I can’t really think of a better way to finish a long Friday of work and classes!
I had poutine (of course!); here’s Le Petit Poutine’s barbecue pulled pork poutine. It was phenomenal.
If you’re into food trucks Rochester is definitely the place for you. As well as the food trucks that were on campus tonight, there are also mac and cheese trucks, a waffle truck, an ice cream truck, a soul food truck, a barbecue truck…the list goes on and on. Once a month in the summer time, there’s a rodeo downtown at the Public Market with all these awesome food trucks and live music. Let it never be said that Rochester doesn’t know how to make good food!
