Everyday there’s something different going on at Naz.  From comedians coming to campus to weekly yoga sessions, there’s always something to do. Our campus community even kicks off the start of each semester with an involvement fair.  At this large event, each club on campus is represented and you can check out what they do. There is often a signup sheet and you can ask club officers questions to learn more about the club. This is a great place to get involved with clubs and organizations right from the start. If you miss out on the involvement fair, don’t worry: opportunities to get involved hardly end there!

The CAB (Campus Activities Board) plans campus events and holds weekly meetings to encourage student involvement in selecting what activities happen.  The CAB is a fun organization that is very easy to get involved in, and they offer things like comedians, grocery bingo, musical acts, themed trivia nights, $5 student tickets to off campus events like NFL games and arena concerts.  Plus, the transportation is provided!

Another group on campus, the Undergraduate Association, houses Intramurals & Rec, which sponsors a multitude of fun events like a 3 on 3 basketball league, yoga and fitness events, and open gym nights. The Residence Hall Council also puts on events like extreme laser tag, siblings weekend, volleyball tournaments, and a Halloween mixer. The Arts Center hosts a number of entertaining acts every year, with free tickets for students for many of them.  They bring in high profile, often grammy nominated acts to come to Callahan Theater. Last year, acappella act Voiceplay, who was on NBC’s “The Singoff”, came to Naz and put on an astounding performance. They are also currently in the process of building the new Glazer Music Performance Center, which will seat 550 people.

Every year, the college puts on Springfest, which is the biggest stand-alone event at Nazareth.  The CAB brings in an outside headlining act every year, and there are plenty of other festivities including carnival games and live music. Last year, Nickelodeon star Kel Mitchell, from “Keenan and Kel,” came to campus and did a phenomenal stand-up routine. The year before, award winning band We The Kings performed. Springfest is the highlight of just about every year here!

You don’t have to look far to see all the exciting things happening right here on campus.  As you can see, it’s very easy to get involved here at Naz, so when you get here, take advantage!
