So a few weeks ago, I had the honor of meeting a few of the US Women’s Soccer team players! They were at Naz to practice a few days before their match against Mexico in Rochester, the last match before the World Cup Qualifying Round. They won 4-0, with goals by Amy Rodriguez, Megan Rapinoe, Tobin Heath, and Alex Morgan!
This was one of the most exciting days of my college career! Right after class there was a rumor that they were practicing at our stadium, so a teammate and I headed down to the field- and there they were! After their practice was over, we were able to get pictures with a couple of the players!
Such a great experience to meet these great soccer players! Can’t wait to see who shows up at Naz next!!
