The end of the semester can be hard. We all hear that winter break is coming and get so excited! Here are some ways that you can practice self care and use your resources!

1. Take advantage of all the resources at Naz

If you need help, use tutors! Go to the math/science center! Go to the writing center to get extra help on that big paper coming up! We have so many resources available to ourselves, take advantage!

2. Take time for yourself

Bookstore in Pittsford!

Through all your studying time make sure that you take time to do things that you enjoy! Recently my friends and I went for a walk into Pittsford. We found this cute local bookshop and just strolled around. Finding something to do to take a break from studying is so important. Whether that is watching a movie with your friends in the residence hall lounge or walking to the canal in town!

3. Go out for a favorite meal

A meal at Chipotle just minutes away from campus never disappoints!

Sometimes when I am feeling down or homesick, going out for a favorite meal can change your mood entirely. I am a total fan of Chipotle and if I have a long week you can most likely find me at the Pittsford one.

4. Find a favorite study spot

Finding a place where you can get work done is so important. One of my favorite spots is Java’s Cafe. My friend Allison Diefenderfer and I have a weekly study date. Every Sunday we go to Java’s to study and get a delicious drink. My favorite on campus study spot is definitely Millie’s in the library. Nothing can beat a good ole Millie’s study session with a drink from Erika!
