For over a year we have been in a constant battle with each other, you took so many lives and for that, we will never forgive you. Now that the vaccine is here, I am happy to part ways with you. It has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will never forget. You have brought so many dark times, but you are also the reason so many people came together all around the world.
You were the reason the world shut down and confined us to our home but that never stopped us from staying connected and adapting/changing to a new way of life. We grew as a society and as people individually, we learned to love from afar, educate from a screen, and try to stay sane being around our families 24/7. But now it’s time to shut our laptops, open our front doors and go back out into the world and leave you behind. Goodbye COVID-19 you won’t be missed.
